Feeling less like a hotel room and more like a private home, the rustic yet elegant Sunset Beach Villas are an idyllic setting for a serene beach retreat.

Scattered across the island’s beaches, these Maldives villas all have a private beach and garden and can’t be overlooked by neighbouring villas.

You enter your villa through the spacious living room (sofa which can convert to an extra bed, chairs, coffee table, TV) which has sliding doors leading to the terrace (outdoor table and chairs) and private beach.

On the beach is a traditional style Maldivian swing, a beach dining table and sunloungers with umbrella. Next to the living room is a large dressing room with double-wardrobes and ample storage which leads to the bedroom.

Bright and airy, the spacious bedroom (double bed, TV) also has doors leading to the terrace and beach with views of the beach from the bed. The enormous open air bathroom has a Jacuzzi, walk-in rainshower and double sinks and offers toiletries by Bulgari, eau de the vert.

The villa’s teak flooring, tiled terrace and simple chalk-white walls contribute to the tranquil feel. Maldivian nature deeply inspires the architecture of the Sunset Beach Villas, enhanced by earthy shades of brown and green.

Set on wooden stilts over our turquoise-blue lagoon, the Deluxe Water Villas offer a typical Maldivian experience.

The large contemporary-style bedroom with sitting area and separate dressing area has floor to ceiling windows leading to the terrace where you’ll find an 18 sqm infinity pool, steps into the lagoon, and a sundeck  with loungers, umbrella, table and chairs that’s perfect for lazy days.  The indoor bathroom has T.V, vanity counter with two wash basins, separate rain shower and Jacuzzi bath,

There is also an in-villa dining area with amazing views of the endless blue horizon and lagoon.  Toiletries are  by Molton Brown.

Hideaway palace

A magical hideaway, our three-bedroomed Hideaway Palaces stretch over an expansive 1,420sqm of land on the very private tip of the island and can’t be overlooked by neighbouring villas.  Each Hideaway Palace comprises three separate villas, connected by a timber deck surrounded by two private infinity swimming pools, creating the magical impression that the villas float above water.

Each palace consists of:

• A master bedroom with a walk-in closet, en-suite indoor and outdoor bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub with separate rain shower and open air shower in the garden
• Two guest villas with en-suite indoor and outdoor bathrooms and walk-in closets

Located on the beach, each of our two-bedroomed Maldives Family Villas sits in its own garden and can’t be overlooked by neighbouring villas.  In the garden is a private 53sqm infinity swimming pool with a dining island built on it. The master bedroom has its own dressing area and a huge en-suite indoor/outdoor bathroom with a ‘two-person’ handcrafted Jacuzzi bathtub, rain head shower and enough space to hold a party! The spacious living room has views of the pool, as does the second bedroom which has its own indoor bathroom.  Other features include an open-air roof terrace overlooking the pool and the beach, an outdoor sitting area, a dressing area in each room and a guest toilet and shower.
